Copy trading
Copy trading
Press Copy on a LoopUP Verified KOL's profile. From then on, every token that KOL buys through LoopUP is bought for you too, in the same transaction and at the same price; when they sell, your copy sells the same share. Where copy trading is not switched on yet, the button does not appear.
What you set
- How much each copied buy spends, per paired asset (for example 0.05 ETH), and the most that may sit in open copies of that KOL at once.
- Your copy balance: a deposit that stays under your address in the contract. A buy your balance or limits cannot cover is skipped, never made smaller; My copies shows every skipped buy and why.
- Pause a KOL (no new copies, open ones still follow their sells) or stop and free the seat.
The fee
10% of your own profit when a copy closes in profit: 9% to the KOL, 1% buys and burns $LOOP. Nothing on a loss, and a loss is carried: your next profit with the same KOL first makes it back before any fee. The normal 1% trading fee applies once to the pooled trade, like any trade.
Your exits
- Close any copy yourself at any time; you do not need the KOL.
- Withdraw your free balance at any time. Nobody, not the KOL and not LoopUP, can move or hold your money.
- If a token's graduation keeps failing, redeem your copy through the rescue path like any holder.
Rules for the KOL
- Only KOLs with the LoopUP Verified badge can be copied: X verification plus 100,000 followers and an account at least 5 years old, or a founder's exception for a proven record. Each has 100 seats; when they are full you can join a waitlist.
- The KOL's own amount must be at least 5% of every pooled buy, no copy buy happens while a token's launch buy tax is still above zero, a KOL cannot lead trades on their own token, and cannot lead a copy sell of a token while they have an active call on it: they lead the exit after the call ends (48 hours), or sell from their own wallet, which ends the call.
- If the KOL sells the same token from their own wallet outside the copy, your open copy shows a warning so you can decide yourself.
Copying is not a promise of profit. A copy can lose money, and a KOL's past results do not repeat by themselves.
